It is very important to remember that *every* side has their own apologists, revisionists, and propagandists.
A few figures changed here and there (or omitted/added entirely in some cases) works wonders for how things look for one side or the other.
Everyone claims that theirs is the truth, that their way is the better way.
That everyone else spreads lies, that everything else is baseless propaganda.
It is a mire of bias which we cannot avoid.
It is important that we find our own truth between the colored words of all sides, that we remain open-minded; standing your ground when you feel it firm beneath your feet and being able to concede points which prove valid.
The mind is a shear thickening fluid to the fist of ideas.
Corrections are not attacks against personal character and should not be treated as such.
